Training starts at 09:30 on a Sunday assuming we don't have a fixture.
Fixture's are on Pitchero, which we would like you to register with, this allows us to know which children are available for games ahead.
Usually within the week leading up to a Sunday session details are emailed accordingly.
We welcome all children in school year 3. No previous rugby experience necessary.
We aim to teach children the basic techniques and skills of rugby in a fun and inclusive environment. All our coaches and helpers are CRB checked, have coaching qualifications and rugby experience.
Bishop’s Stortford RFC is a family club and the social element is high on the agenda. We have lots of social events and this is always a great chance for both coaches and parents to get to know each other.
If anyone has any questions please do contact Neil Clark (Lead Coach); we are all volunteers who are keen to get as many people as we can interested in rugby be it playing, coaching or just involved in the social aspect of the club and game.
Parents must remain with the children to watch on the sidelines. Please bring some drinks and snacks for the kids during breaks and parents should dig out some warm clothes and sturdy boots for when the weather turns. You can buy coffee/tea and stronger beverages in the club house and the kids normally enjoy a hot dog or similar after the training session. We have a great social community amongst our age group we hope you will join us after the game as well.
