Good point for reserves, 1st lose away

A depleted Swifts 1st team lost by the odd goal for the second week running, after going down 3-2 away at lowly Buckhurst Hill, scorers Tom Prendergast and Jamil Shariffu. Swifts remain in 3rd spot. Swifts reserves picked up a good home point drawing 3-3 with Catholic Utd, who had lost only 1 in eleven games. Swifts took an early lead through Cieran Kelly and led 2-0 at the break with Jermain Purchas scoring their second. The 2nd half saw Catholic pull one back before Purchas scored his 2nd to make it 3-1 with 15 minutes remaining. Catholic Utd rallied in the final 10 minutes as Swifts faded and conceded 2 to make the final score 3-3.

ROYSTON CROW:
Swifts U-18 progressed in the county cup, winning 5-3 away at Hitchin Town, with 2 goals each for Liam Holly and Henry Harnack, 1 for Harvey Cockram. Swifts U-15 kept up thier recent resurgence, drawing 0-0 away at 3rd place Biggleswade. Swifts U-14 went down 6-2 away at Symonds Green and remain in 2nd position.
