Having loaned our second row to a short Fleetwood team we were all set for an exciting match in the early springtime sun. With good running from Tom, Alex & Joe the scoring was all square until a seventh minute turnover ball that would prove decisive and leave the first half 4:3 to Fleetwood. The second half had Gareth pushing a gutsy Blackburn team to an exciting end that would see the seasiders a point to the better.

The second game showed both teams playing good rugby with effective passing, good running and sixteen tries evenly split between two exhausted teams. At 11:25 the final whistle blew for a narrow Fleetwood victory.

A big thank you to all the mums who turned down a well deserved Mothers Day lie in to support their boys in thoroughly enjoyable match.
