WALLACE HOWAT
It is with great sadness that I have to report on the unfortunate loss of a good friend and past captain Wally Howat.
Wally (71) passed away yesterday after a short battle with a re-occurrence of skin cancer.
He was Club Captain from 1973-75 and not many people will know but that famous Burn forward call "Pundie Ball" was his invention and is still in use to this day.
The funeral is to take place at Falkirk Crematorium next Tuesday 9th March at 14:30hrs.
Ann, Wally's partner, has asked that his life be celebrated so any anecdotes to Bill Neild asap please.
