Welcome to Blackheath U9 Mini Rugby - All New Players Welcome!
Welcome to Blackheath U9 Mini Rugby - All New Players Welcome!
We start at 10am prompt on Sunday mornings at Well Hall. Currently we have a 42 players in the squad and would be delighted if any new player wanted to join.
Coaching is coordinated by lead coaches Jon Saunders and Paul Roberts, who are supported by Richard Edwards, Tim Brindle, Simon Botes, Ben Walker, Jamie Macdiarmid, Lindsay Harris and David Harley, who also manages the Age Group. All coaches are parents and volunteers who have completed foundation courses in rugby coaching as a minimum. Additionally, a growing number have completed RFU Level 1 or higher coaching qualifications together with other refereeing and rugby related CPD courses.
Our ongoing goal is for all players have fun in a safe and inclusive environment, learning about teamwork and developing camaraderie as well as developing & improving their rugby skills.
