With March behind us and winter nets coming to a close, we are starting to plan for the season ahead. Following Hartley CC's demise the fixtures have been re-arranged meaning that we start the defence of the Kent Premier League title at Lordswood on 4th May. The 5s kick off on the same weekend whilst our four other league teams begin their season a week later. The 3s have been promoted to Division 2 (2nd XI) as Hartley have relinquished their place in the Premier Division (2nd) and 3rd placed teams have been pushed up - including George Howlett's 3s.

We have one more session at the Oval on Wednesday. This week we will be re-acquainting ourselves with the local pub for a drink, to meet new members socially, and to catch the Man Utd v Barcelona match. We have two lanes booked for two hours. All members are welcome.

This year we will be using Pitchero to handle all membership fees. Our experience with Slate for match fees has been positive hence we are keen to also upgrade our membership administration. We have plenty of bills to pay before the season begins so members are reminded that prompt payment is critical to the running of the club. We know that we ask a lot of members in terms of fees and we are happy to advise that following the increase in 2018 fees, 2019 fees and membership will remain at 2018 levels.

There are still one or two paydays until membership fees are due on 23rd May so why not pay your subs in advance when you get paid? That way you will be able to focus on the important business of playing and winning.
