BOXING DAY BONANZA

Two games were held at Blackwood today, the first was between a combination of some younger youth players and some members of the ladies team. The muddy conditions made life very difficult for both sides but all who took part had a great time, the score was not really important but it was very close.
The second game, held on the main pitch was between two sides made up of a combination of youth, first team and stars all mixed up. It was actually a very entertaining game that was again played on a very muddy pitch but with a fair bit of humour. It has to be said that it was the ref (Tom) that made it an open and free running game due to the fact he was rarely within 40m of play, he should be on the IRB referee committee.
