Blaydon RFC vs Sandal RUFC Preview
This Sunday sees Blaydon RFC U13 Lad's Take On Sandal RUFC U13's.In What Will Be Blaydon's Final Game Of This Season and Final Game playing as U13's.
Next season will see the team and all of the lad's move up an age group to play in the U14's section. If this season is enything to go by next season should be a very exciting one for all concerned. Most of the lad's have only been playing together since the begining of this season which is sometimes hard to believe when you see them out there playing together on the pitch. The Whole team has had a few ups and downs over the season as well as the usual minor injurys we've had 2 of our lad's out after both (Leon wicks) on the 22nd of jan & (Lewis Burbidge) on the 16th of march suffered broken collar bones due to accidents whilst playing matches. Along with (Freddy Bunting) on the 4th of APRIL Breaking his wrist during training & (Sam Dayson) on the 25th of Feb was rushed in to hospital with a rupshered appendix. Thats just a few off the top of my head lol. On top of that they've had about 10 matches cancelled due to the bad weather we had over the winter.. Despite all the ups and downs tho the U13's lad's have had a pretty awesome season as it goes. Out of the 26 matches the lad's have played this season they have won 20 of them. Racking up an unreal grand total of 1019 points. And they just keep getting better and better. It's absolutely amazing how much they have grown and the progress they have all made over such a short space of time both as indervidual young men as well as a outstanding team. You all have alot to be proud of lad's you've all worked dam hard well done all of you.
Good luck for today lad's have loads of fun. Remember it's the last game of this season tho so make sure you get out there and do what you all do best.Show them lot from sandal exactly what you're all made of and be sure to make every second count okie dokie....

Thanks for your comments Tan about Josh, lovely to hear that he's an asset to the team and not just his Mum being biased.
The lads have played phenomenly well this season as you have said, and I don't think I can actually wait until the new season begins.
