Blofield go for Cup Semi Final Place

Blofield supporter will be hoping its third time lucky as they host Mulbarton in the Mummery Cup Quarter Final this afternoon at the Rec.

The away team have claimed two victories over the Beavers this season, 4-1 at Blofield in August and a much closer 1-0 victory back in December.

The visitors arrive as the form team of the division and having already secured the Don Frost Cup are well placed in all competitions to do the treble, a feat last achieved by Blofield in the 2009/10 season.

Although the weather has relented during the week to allow some pitch maintenance to be completed, the game is subject to a 10am pitch inspection. If the game goes ahead, please note the earlier kick off time of 1.30pm.

Confirmation of the result of the pitch inspection will be made on the clubs twitter account later this morning.
