Game away at Sheringham set to go ahead

The Beavers will be looking to earn a Mummery Cup Final place when they travel to Sheringham this afternoon.

It looks like the weather gods have been kind and the game is set to proceed. Please note its an earlier kick off time (2pm), there will be extra time and penalties if needed.

Despite being a division apart, the teams have already met once before this season in the Senior Cup, with Blofield experiencing a nightmare day, finishing the game with nine men and having six goals put past them in a heavy defeat.

Based on that performance, the home side looked a very good bet to comfortably gain promotion, but their form has faltered recently with three defeats in their last six games & today is the first of three big games in succession for them as they face fellow promotion contenders UEA & Wymondham over the next two Saturdays.

All support is welcome, though I would advise dressing for Arctic-like conditions.

Unfortunately, the Reserves home game against Hingham has already fell foul of the weather.
