Fortunes for both teams continues to improve

Whilst the first team had an unscheduled Saturday off, the Reserves secured back to back victories with a 6-1 win against Hempnall.

Both Danny Mckail & Will Bennett got some valuable minutes in, having both missed a portion of the season through injury.

The scorers for Blofield were Robbie Fryers (2), Will Bennett (2), Craig Glen & Ryan Frankland.

The Reserves will hope to continue their recovery with a home game this coming Saturday against Swaffham Reserves, 2pm kick off.

Last Saturday's fixture against Hoveton was postponed due to the hosts being unable to raise a side. In line with competition rules, this meant Blofield were rewarded the tie & can now look forward to a Mummery Cup Quarter final later this year.

Needless to say, I can confirm there was disappointment within the club and team that the game was called off and certainly, given the results of both clubs recent fixtures against Sheringham, this would have been a tough test for the beavers. It will be down to the players now to take advantage of this good fortune.

However, we wish Hoveton all the best for the remainder of the season and hope they do not find themselves in the same position again.

The first team will look to build on the results gained in October, with a trip to face Caister this Saturday, 2pm kick off.
