Kirkley were not finished as Luke Warboys demonstrates as he steams past Jonny. Jo arrows in on goal while Aiden Lowe,No.8 and Sean Blowers try to thwart his progress.
However, Jo resists their challenges and presses on towards goal. However the combination of good goal keeping and resolute defending prevented Jo from scoring. Chris fools everyone and instead of shooting he side foots the ball across the face of goal. Unfortunately Rushie is unable to connect with the ball. Following another Blofield raid ,Rushie unleashes a venomous shot which just goes wide. Sub Karl Mills bringing the ball out of defence.
Blofield United 5 Kirkley and Pakefield Reserves 0 Oops! With possibly his first touch, Ian Stones up ends Connor Borrett. Ian in more familiar territory heading the ball a way from a Kirkley attack. Jonny Wynne looking determined not to let Craig Bedingfield get the ball.
Connor Borrett ends a flowing move by Kirkley but he is unable to find the net much to the relief of Robert in the Blofield goal. Having been put through by assistant manager Simon Blowers, Darren surges into the Kirkley box before delivering a low cross to the far side of the box and into the path of Jo Manning. Jo races onto the pass which cuts Sam Atkins out of the equation. Goal! Jo side foots the ball into the net for a much deserved goal. Elliott Reynolds is unable to stop the ball crossing the line as Danny Mac follows up . Blofield United 4 Kirkley and Pakefield reserves 0
A cross from Ben just evades Simon due to the timely intervention from No. 2 Sam Atkins. Simon unleashing a shot on goal but it went over. Simon is sent sprawling by Craig Bedingfield No.5 after receiving a pass from Ben. Penalty! Ben implores the ref to blow his whistle and award a penalty which he duly does.
Goal. Ben steps up to send the keeper the wrong way. Unfortunately for some reason I haven't been able to capture Ben in possession this afternoon. Blofield United 5 Kirkley and Pakefield reserves 0 Yet again Simon plays a telling pass into the area. At the very end a shot by Ben is followed in by Simon as Elliott gets down well to save.
