Blyths excellent start to the season continued with a another bonus point win over their visitors from Seaham. Right from the start Blyth took the game to Seaham but it took 25 minutes of relentless pressure to score the first points when Lawrence finished of a fine move by the backs to score in the corner, McCardel adding the conversion. Almost from the restart Blyth scored again, Cole following up a kick ahead to record the second try. It took Seaham 30 minutes to even get into Blyths half and were rewarded with a penalty but missed their one scoring chance of the first half. A quickly take penalty by the Blyth scrum half Smithson resulted in a line out to Seaham on their own 5m line but they only managed to tap the ball back and Davie the Blyth captain pounced on it for the third try, the conversion bring the score to 19 nil at half time.
Seaham stared the second half well and had ten minutes of pressure without ever looking like scoring. The bonus point try for the home side came from Robinson who darted over from a scrum and McCardel added the extras. At this point the home forwards were pushing the heavier Seaham pack all over and it was no surprise when Davie the home no8 scored again MacCardal completing the scoring with the conversion
