Another tough Away midweek fixture as we traveled to Cae Seilo, Felinheli.
With a few regulars missing the Green Army started with a 5-3-2 formation, Boded started the brightest and a couple of cracking 25 yard shots from Jordan Taylor had the Felin keeper at full stretch to save them. As the half wore on Felin got on top without creating anything of note, only a few long range efforts.
The half drew to a close with Boded looking a bit more threatening after changing their shape to 4-4-2, with young Taylor again going close, but the half ended goalless.

HT – CPD Felinheli 0 – 0 Bodedern Ath FC.

Similar to what happened last wednesday night at Cemaes Bay, Boded were caught sleeping in the first 10 minutes and were made to pay. A poor clearance was met by their number 8, his shot from the edge of the box took a small deflection and went in off the post.
Worse was to follow as Felin`s winger did well to beat Rhys down the right and whipped a testing ball across the 6 yard box which Ashley could only divert past Bryn for an own goal, to hand them a 2-0 lead. A big test from now on as we gave it everything, but couldn`t finish the chances given to us as the usually prolific Gary-Jo missed two great chances. On 57 min Gary made amends to make it 2-1 with a lethal finish. We kept plugging away and pressing, knowing to well that Felin were dangerous on the break, but we couldn`t find the equaliser we deserved.
The unbeaten tag has gone but we'll hopefully learn from this defeat and put a run of wins together.
