After a season out of local football last year, the new and old recruits of the Green Army can be pretty pleased with how this season has gone so far.

In all competitions, P - 16, W - 11, D - 1, L - 4, with a completely new squad, it`s been a great start, and Ricky`s men are currently on a great run winning 8 of their last 9 games.

With over half the league games played, currently sitting in 2nd place in the league, played 13 of 24 games, we are right in the mix for what will surely be a close and exciting end to the season, that will go all the way.

In the New Year, we might have a slight advantage, with 10 league games remaining, 6 home and 4 away, with the home games being against the teams around us at the top.

We also have plenty of cup action to look forward to, mainly the Quarter Final v Talysarn Celts in the Intermediate Cup next Saturday as well as being still involved in the others.

The only negative about the season so far has probably been our discipline, too many red cards has cost us with players subsequently being suspended, but
hopefully the players can learn from this and we can all push on for a successful season ahead.
