On a windy day Llanfair were the opponents at Cae Cob. PG had the first attempt on goal after 3 mintes through Sion Emlyn,but on 10 minutes Rees for the Juniors appeared to have scored but the ball hadn't crossed the line and play continued.On 14 minutes Allaway headed just over for the Juniors.The windy conditions were difficult for both teams but on 23 mintes Elliot Jones fired just wide for PG. On 24 minutes Hallas created a goal for Allaway as he cooly fired in.The Juniors had a period of pressure then as Allaway ,Hallas and Harry Jones went close for the Juniors.As the half was ending PG used the wind to create a goal as a lobbed pass caused chaos in the Juniors defence and Elliot Jones fired in on 43 minutes.
Half Time 1v1.The second half opened and Elliot Jones for PG fired over then Owain Davies fired wide.On 49 minutes Aron Owen fired just over for the Juniors.On 52 mintes Rees headed just over for the Juniors.On 65 minutes Gardiner was upended in the penalty box and Allaway slotted home for the Juniors.However the lead was short lived as PG gained a free kick which eventually saw Sion Jones scoring on 68 minutes.On 72 minutes Allaway fired wide as the Juniors went for the winner.Rees came close after that and at the death Pg had a free kick which Elliot Jones fired over. The wind definitely won the match as both teams tried manfully to produce football in difficult conditions.For PG Hulse starred as did Rees for the Juniors,Gethin Williams gave a good account of himself for PG as well as did Murphy for the Juniors.Overall both teams shared the points in a well contested match and probably both might say they deserved to win but neither could score the vital winner.
