Hotspur tame conditions!

On a windy afternoon Hotspurs visited Cae Cob.Both teams battled against the windy conditions and Hotspurs mastered them well playing short passes along the ground which proved effective.On 5 minutes Curt Williams fired goalwards but on 10 minutes against the run of play Hallas for the Juniors found space and slotted home.Hotspurs responded and Williams narrowly fired wide on 16 minutes.On 18 minutes Mike Edwards fired his free kick over the bar.On 22 minutes Casey Gregg had a cross shot which found the net for Hotspurs.On 38 minutes Allaway for the Juniors was sent free but the chance went begging.On 40 minutes Edwards for Hotspurs was upended inside the penalty box and Cameron Eaton scored despite a valiant effort from Roberts the home keeper.On 44 minutes Batson for Hotspurs fired wide.Half Time 1v2.
The Juniors tried to get their passing game going but were rushed in their work whilst Hotspurs made time on the ball however Hallas fired goal wards on 47 minutes for the Juniors but on 52 minutes Eaton for Hotspurs scored again from close range.On 54 minutes Allaway was sent free but fired wide .On 63 minutes Gregg for the Hotspurs went close but Roberts made a fine save.0n 67 minutes Allaway was upended in the penalty box and he duly converted the spot kick.On 69 minutes Heycock for the Juniors came close to equalising .Hotspurs closed the game down well and on 80 minutes Williams for Hotspur drove a shot goalwards but Roberts in the home goal saved well.Both teams strove to the end to gain another goal but failed.In a sporting match Edwards played manfully for Hotspurs while Mitch Jones starred.For the Juniors Allaway showed well as did Aron Owen in midfield but Hotspurs mastered the conditions the better by passing along the deck.
