Two More Goals From Striker Dan Smith.
Rocks Still Unbeaten .
Bognor remain unbeaten as Dan Smith scored a brace and Bradley Lethbridge netted at the very end as a second half improvement in attack for the Green Army allowed them to take all three points.
Keaton Wood was still missing from the Rocks line up through a hamstring injury and so Tommy Block started in the centre of defence alongside Chad Field.
Dan Lincoln and Dan Smith were both back in the side after missing out the at the Lewes game.
Early on a long ball over the top to Smith saw him chip the ball over the defence towards Jimmy Muitt who won a corner in the box. Muitt's corner was headed away by Sean Francis on 2 minutes.
Field had to hack away a lofted pass from midfield by Manolis Gogonas who was searching for Elliott Buchanan with his pass on seven minutes.
Shaun Lucien received a square pass from the right but his strike from outside the box curled narrowly over the bar moments later as the K’s were causing Rocks some problems in the early stages.
Davies passed to Doug Tuck who chipped the ball neatly over the defence for Bradley Lethbridge who ran on beyond the defence before hitting the ball on the rise with his right boot over goalkeeper Rob Tolfrey and wide of the far post as it bounced off for a goal kick on 13 minutes.
But Bognor took the lead on 15 minutes.
Lethbridge used his pace on the right before cutting inside and finding Smith inside the box and he hit it first time high into the net, giving Tolfrey no chance.
Tommy Scutt then crossed it in from the right, again looking for Smith but the goalkeeper got there first.
Muitt's deflected cross almost fell to Lethbridge whose overhead scissor kick didn't pay off soon after.
Davies slid in late on Gregory Cundle before Buchanan tried his luck but Block got in the way on 21 minutes and managed to deflect it away.
Ridwan Asala's cross went beyond everyone in the box as the ball bounced harmlessly off for a goal kick to Bognor soon after.
Gogonas linked up well with Cundle who turned before striking it low from 25 yards. But his low strike was well stopped by Lincoln on 25 minutes.
Lethbridge picked out Smith again beyond the defence on 29 minutes and when Smith got there he forced a right-legged save from Tolfrey.
Following this Tuck's cut back to Muitt saw him drive another chance at goal but Tolfrey did enough to divert it away.
Block went in the book for a late challenge as play paused for a throw in and brought back following the advantage.
A big clearance from Harvey Whyte bounced to Smith who held the play up before Muitt could get there but the eventual cross from Lethbridge flew across the box and out of play on 41 minutes.
But there was another goal before half time. This time it was Kingstonian who levelled it when Asala made his way into the box with neat footwork before crossing the ball low along the goal line. He found Buchanan on the back post to slot in from close range on 44 minutes.
Lucien cut inside from the left before shooting along the deck but Lincoln got down well to it to deny him in the last attempt of the half.
A suspected injury to Asala meant he was was replaced at half time by James Daly for the visitors.
Good work from Muitt on the right saw him win the ball before finding Smith who struck it low but it was denied by Tolfrey.
Tuck picked out Lethbridge on the right but he scuffed his right-footed strike well wide of the goal on 49 minutes from the edge of the box.
A neat pass out wide to Whyte saw him beat his man before having a run and crossing into the area but Tolfrey was there to confidently gather high in his area.
Another move down the right broke down between Smith and Muitt soon after and then Davies was booked on 56 minutes for a poor challenge in the middle of the park.
Louie Theophanous replaced Cundle for the visitors on 62 minutes.
On 66 minutes Bognor had taken the lead in fantastic fashion.
A good move instigated by Lethbridge saw Smith strike the ball from outside the box and it was hit sweetly high into the top right corner out of Tolfrey's reach. A goal of the month contender.
Connor Dymond was replaced by Olumide Oluwatimilehin on 68 minutes.
Scutt went in the book as he gave a foul away. But Lucien's freekick into the area couldn't pick out a fellow player in the area.
Mason Walsh also replaced Scutt on 71 minutes in a change for Bognor.
The K’s won a corner with Tyler Brown but it was Muitt who hacked it away.
Then Block's ball over the defence was searching for Smith on the run but Tolfrey got there first for Kingstonian.
Archie Edwards also went into the book for a late trip on the far side on 76 minutes. And he was holding his knee as he was substituted for Harvey Sparks on the left side on 79 minutes.
Block was a beaten man as the ball flew over him and Buchanan sped on the run. He only had Lincoln to beat but instead he put it wide of the left post low on 81 minutes in a let off for Bognor.
Whyte went down under a challenge and Theophanous lashed out and stamped on Whyte whilst he was on the floor and the referee sent him off straight away on 84 minutes. Francis was also shown yellow for his reaction in the aftermath.
Davies hit a diagonal ball out wide on the left to Walsh who cut inside before shooting along the deck and hitting the side netting on 87 minutes.
Smith was on his hat-trick and his low strike was also denied moments later with Lethbridge in space and demanding it near the back post.
Then Lethbridge won a corner on the right. It was played short by Muitt and Lethbridge held it up as four minutes were added on.
Bognor pounced on the counter when the ball was cleared out to Lethbridge who had beaten the defender who went to ground.
The Pompey loanee ran a whole half of the field before coolly slotting beyond Tolfrey low into the net in the last moments of stoppage time.
After the final whistle there was a contingent of Kingstonian fans clearly not happy with manager Leigh Dynan’s performance in the league so far.
They offloaded their frustration as the teams and officials exited the field.
Bognor now sit in third position in the Bostik Premier League.
They look forward to the FA Cup First Qualifying Round match away to Whitstable Town on Saturday 8th September, 3pm kick off.
