The Mikes face a mouth watering home tie in The Buildbase FA Vase on Saturday as they welcome high flying Worcester City to TBMG.

The Mikes v Worcester City
Saturday 23 September 2017 - Kick Off 3:00pm
The Buildbase FA Vase - Second Qualifying Round

Worcester City have suffered only one league defeat this season and are currently second in our division. Their only other setback was when they lost to Chasetown in an Emirates FA Cup Replay. Indeed, Chasetown knocked us out of the competition in the next round.

With both of the first two qualifying rounds of this season's Buildbase FA Vase being drawn in pre-season, The Mikes already knew that a home win against Coventry Alvis a fortnight ago would set up this meeting with City. Stuart Grosvenor's men didn't disappoint with a thumping 6-1 win.

This will be The Faithful's first ever FA Vase tie. Before dropping three divisions to the Midland Football League, City were entered into the FA Trophy in previous seasons. This is also the first meeting between the teams in national FA Competition.

We are expecting a large crowd for this fixture, so please endeavour to arrive early and take note of the parking considerations and ground regulations outlined below.

Should the scores be level after 90 minutes on Saturday, extra time will be played. If extra time fails to produce a winner, a replay will take place at The Victoria Ground, Birmingham Road, Bromsgrove, Worcs B61 0DR on Tuesday 26th September, with a 7:45pm kick off.

The Mikes will wear their first choice home colours of white shirts with black sleeves, black shorts and black & white hooped socks.

Come on you Mikes!

PARKING

There are two good-sized car parks at the stadium.

There is street parking available around the stadium. However, please ensure that you park considerately and leave access to residential driveways. Please leave the stadium quietly, particularly after evening fixtures.

GROUND REGULATIONS

All spectators are reminded that they are required to adhere to the club's policies and ground regulations as a condition of entry.

PITCH ACCESS

There is strictly no access to the 3G turf at any time.
This includes the two 5-a-side courts adjacent to the spectator area at the Bowling Green End.

At times, children may be allowed to play football on the 5-a-sidecourts, but they must adhere to the club's strict footwear policy and be wearing football boots with moulded soles - no astro trainers or flat soles are allowed. Their supervision is the responsibility of their parents or adult guardian, who must also adhere to the footwear policy and be wearing the appropriate football boots if they walk onto the turf at any time.

Water and sports drinks are permitted on the courts when they are open, but no food or canned drinks are allowed inside the caged 3G turf area. All empty bottles must be removed and placed in the bins around the stadium.

Smoking Policy

The covered areas - the seated Main Stand and Clubhouse End Terrace - are strictly no smoking, as indicated by the numerous signs in those areas.

The designated smoking area is the 'El Stattio' terrace next to the main stand - please look for the Spanish flag.

We politely request that smoking spectators stand on the terrace steps and do not lean on or over the pitchside barrier while smoking, to ensure that no smoking related debris damages the 3G turf.

Drinks Policy

No glasses or glass bottles are allowed outside the bar area. This includes soft drinks in glass bottles.

For this fixture no alcoholic drinks will be allowed pitchside, in accordance with FA Competition rules.

General Ground Policies

The Mikes is a family club with a large number of junior members across our 30+ teams. Many attend first team games. We ask that all spectators refrain from using bad language in the stadium.

There are a large number of bright red wheelie bins all around the stadium. Please ensure that all of your rubbish and discarded food and drinks containers are placed inside the nearest bin.

This is our home and we hope that all visitors respect that. We are always working hard to provide you with the best facilities we can, alongside our renowned warm welcome. We are grateful for any constructive feedback that you may offer and sincerely hope that everyone enjoys their visit to Boldmere St Michaels.
