1st O/A Summer Game vs Haresfinch and 16s in National Cup Semi Final.

Big week for the club this week with both teams having very important games.

It is really important that the OpenAge lads get down training if at all possible this week, we have been having some good numbers down training and the effort and enthusiasm that is being put in has been impressive, but it will not mean anything if we don't perform this week.

We know we will be in for a tough game against Haresfinch and we only have 2 training sessions to get things right to get the win not only to make up for the recent cup defeat but also to start this new North West Men's League season as we mean to go on.

So let's get down there tonight and Thursday and make sure we get the preperation right to take into Saturday's game.

The Under 16s also have a massive game on Sunday where they will be looking to extend their awesome unbeaten start to the season as they look to progress to the National Cup Final through the semi at Ince Rose Bridge.

They have already beat Ince this year in the league but won't be taking anything for granted in this game. Anyone who can should try and get to Ince to watch this game, these lads reularly turn out to watch us at our home games especially and it would be a nice way to thank Mark for his time and efforts to our training if we can get down there and cheer them on.

P.S. - we may be on the lookout for a stand-in photographer for Saturdays game as it is likely our usual photographer, Ant Parr will actually be in the team. Let us know on here or Facebook if you would like to help us out.

Cracking turnout last night lads and good effort put in.

Good to see Geoff Newton back in the fold and also Dave Dyas involved, a lot of knowledge and experience behind us now lads so let's learn from them and keep improving as a team.

Only 1 more training session before we kick the season off so we need to make it another good one.
