Pitch Improvement Aims for 2012
Dear All, The last 3-4 weeks of no matches and a longer period with reduced training facilities have once again highlighted the ongoing problems that we have with the pitches.
The Executive Committee have been working very hard over the last 18 months to try and resolve these problems in 2012. So far, we have managed to raise £100,000 towards the planned cost of £132,000 (minimum) for the refurbishment of the pitches. We have other plans in hand to try to raise the remainder.
However we could always use more help in bringing this project to fruition.
You may have skills that you can offer or alternatively you may know of a pot of funding within your organisation which may be able to offer assistance. Either way please shout out nice and loud and speak to Jon-Paul Hardman of the Executive Committee at jonpaul.hardman@realty-estates.co.uk or alternatively on 07818 081732.
The list of skill sets we may need is as follows:
Groundsman
Landscape Designers
Funding Coordinators
Our club is run by volunteers and although we have a long and distinguished list of people who already give up vast amounts of their free time to carry out maintenance on the club - we always need more.
It is your club, it is a club run on a not-for-profit basis and everything we have is reinvested back into the facilities, the kit, the equipment and providing all the services necessary to keep Bolton at the top of its game.
So don't be shy, don't hide your light under a bushel - step forward and put your hand up, be all you can be, give all that you can give! (Ok, I now sound like a mad preacher!)
Come on, get in touch - let's build a better Bolton RUFC together!
