In the forwards pack, Bolton are bolstered by the return of Chris Cockton into the front row with James Franks returning to the two’s with a feather in his cap after an assured debut start last weekend. Simon Frost and John Stryker have both retained their places after excellent performances from both players. Chris Mansfield and Sam Hilton also join the side with Gareth Evans and James Kuligowski making way. This week Bolton play with the more usual 2 forwards replacements.

The backs division remains almost the same with just two changes, the injured Spencer Pettitt is replaced by the James Singleton who returns from injury this weekend, pending a fitness test at training tonight. And Liam Ray comes back into the side after an unfortunate last minute drop out last Saturday, Bolton are hopeful that his pace and attacking flair on the wing will earn him a 5th try in his 5th appearance. Oli Relph returns to the 2nd XV where hopefully his first taste of 1st XV rugby will help him help his side against Rossendale.

Saturday is a must win game for Bolton’s 1st XV and Warrington will provide a stern test, kick off is at 3pm and will be officiated by Daniel Taylor.
