Middlecott School Kirton
Middlecott School Kirton is a mixed, 11-16, all-ability school of approximately 520 students. The school is located in the pleasant village of Kirton about 4 miles to the south-west of Boston.
The school population has changed significantly over the last two years and Eastern European Students for whom English is a second (or sometimes third) language account for exactly 10% of the school roll. They are almost without exception intelligent, delightful students who place a high value on learning and the increased diversity they bring is a real strength of our school. In September 2007 Middlecott became a specialist sports college. Not surprisingly we have a passion for the many benefits that sport brings to young (and old) people and have made great strides in actioning the school and community objectives in our original submission. We are passionate about using our specialism to further raise standards across the school especially in the core subjects.
