The Clay Pigeon Company is the UK clay manufacturing arm of Laporte. Since being purchased by Laporte in 2000 it has gone from strength to strength. There are more than 30 members of staff and all the clay targets produced on site, as well as those few imported, go through stringent quality control measures.

The Clay Pigeon Company manufactures environmentally friendly clays as part of its long term commitment to limit environmental impact. Most of the suppliers in the UK use a coal tar based binder which is not as environmentally friendly, and although easier to use in manufacture, the finished product can be unstable, particularly under very warm weather conditions.

It is evident that our owner, Jean-Michel Laporte takes the quality and service of those products that bear his name personally, as he is the third generation of his family to lead this worldwide company forward.
