Bournemouth miss out on second Bournemouth 7s South Cup Title

On day 2 Bournemouth made it through to the Final of the Sci Mx South Cup at Bournemouth 7s but couldn't overcome fatigue to secure victory.

On the Sunday, in the knock-out stage, there was a closely-fought win against St Pauls Pirates followed by a convincing 7-try to nil win against Swaziland Skrum that saw Bournemouth into the final. Against old rivals Bryanston Old Boys, Bournemouth fell behind for the first time in the competition to an early score but a well-worked try by Scott Chislett brought the score back to 5-7. However the reply foundered on a well-organized physical defence in the second half and a tired Bournemouth team were unable to keep out a strong Bryanston team and they conceded three further tries.

The similar yellow & white strip of both Bournemouth & Bryanston Old Boys was also a factor - the guys heads went visibly down when Bryanston took advantage of a mix up & scored 2 relatively easy tries under the posts, both of which were converted.
Not taking anything away from them, Bryanston Old Boys were a formidable team.
I know that big Harrison guy, brother of Audley I understand, plays for Staines (SSE Div.3 London & SE) but does anybody know who the other guys were & who they play or have played for?

I was under the impression that Adrian Griffiths (the big guy) plays for Rotherham and the rest for Esher who have just been relegated from the Championship. The closeness in the strip didn't help at all and there were two occasions when we passed to them and they scored but to me it was obvious that quite a few of our players had just run out of gas. Its been a long season!!

John, the big guy's name is Nsa Harrison (not Adrian Griffiths) & he confirmed to me earlier in the day that he lives in south London & plays for Staines.
He knows of Tomas Ford at Gravesend who are in the same league but was not aware that Tomas was a Bournemouth player before the start of last season.
Interesting to read the others currently play for Esher who were also fielding a team in the National Cup & ended up as winners of the 'plate competition' against Loughborough Students.
