Behaviour of the Mini and Junior players at the club is generally exceptionally good and we are frequently complimented on their attitude by the other clubs that we compete against and when involved in fund-raising activities.

However, from time to time coaches have to deal with behaviour that falls short of acceptable standards. For this reason it was felt to be helpful for players, parents and coaches to publish a concise statement of the procedures to be followed when these infrequent events occur.

I would like to point out that there has been no specific incident leading to this clarification:

Minis & Juniors Disruptive Behaviour

Possible Consequences

1. Verbal Warning
2. Time Out
3. Meeting at the end of the training session in the club house with Parent, Coach and Team Manager.

In the event of a child reaching consequence 3, a log will be kept of actions agreed at the meeting and the Safeguarding Officer will be informed by the Team Manager.

Further possible consequences may be:

1. Missing next training session.
2. Missing next match/matches.

If the unacceptable behaviour persists, a meeting of the discipline committee will be called and your child may be asked to leave the club.
