I took a trip to Avery Fields on Tuesday with the trusty camera to update the state of play.
The clubhouse, which looks like a chapel with its spire in the main photo (thanks to some adept positioning of the camera) is now free of its scaffolding frame.
Final fixes are being made to the interior. Always good to see the paint and brushes out - the end must be in sight.
As you can see from the photos, the main grass pitch, which was looking rather sad a few weeks back, is developing a lush green carpet of grass. Considering the weather we have had, no mean feat. The 2nd grass pitch is about to receive its top dressing and be seeded in the forthcoming few days.
Take a look HERE for photos, including the latest updates of Bournville's new home.
Here's to The Chapel, er Avery Fields , sorry Mick :)
