Bournville 2's 36 - 31 Harborne
Running up and down the line each week with a camera lets me pick up on a few conversations - below is a summary -
“They’ve Come to Play”, “Get On Top”, “The Hard Yards”, “Come Up Short”, “Plan B”, “Loves To Run With The Ball”, “Overcooks It”, “Nails It”, “Knows The Way To The Try Line”, “Down To The Wire”, “Could Go Either Way”, “Proud Of The Boys”, “They Wanted It More”, “Fronted Up”, “It Depends On Which Team Turns Up”, “They Played For The Full 80″, “There Are No Easy Games”, “Aerial Ping Pong”, “Work In Progress”, “Keeping Hold Of The Ball”, “A Game Of Two Halves”, “He Can’t Run Without His Legs”, “Strength In Depth”, “It’s A Big Ask”, “Forwards Win Games, Backs Decide By How Much”, “We’ll Take The Positives”, “He Backed Himself”, "Pass the pill" ............
In all honesty it was a very enjoyable game and it 'could have gone either way' right up to the end. Harborne played well and look like a team to be reckoned with in the future. Until the match report comes along HERE are a few photos (quite a few actually because of the bright conditions) from Bournville RFC's always friendly (and free) photographer, Sully. If anyone has a spare Nikon 300mm f2.8 lens they are not using I would be happy to borrow it. Has the Uni got any cameras?
I have only made a few subtle changes to some of the photos this week. No Daleks this time.
