On an unseasonal hot Saturday, Bracknell travelled to Ramgarhia where they produced an excellent 2nd half attacking display to win 6-3.
Bracknell started the game well and with confidence, moving the ball quickly and intelligently. This soon led to the opening goal after 10 minutes, with Danny Ray firing in from a tight angle. Bracknell looked to press home the advantage but some clever defending from Ramgarhia kept the lead to just the one goal. With their confidence growing and a host of rash tackles resulting in a flurry of green cards, Ramgarhia equalised after a quick one two slicing open the Bracknell defence. This seemed to deflate Bracknell who came under increasing pressure and were lucky to still be level come the half time whistle.
Half time saw a new game plan discussed and agreed upon and this paid almost immediate dividends as Bracknell scored 3 goals inside the first 10 minutes. Danny Ray again scoring from a tight angle and Tom Pullen
grabbing the other two. This quick fire start had Ramgarhia totally shell shocked and with Bracknell keeping possession and defending in two’s the flight slowly left them. This allowed Tom Pullen
to complete his hat trick after some neat play by man of the match Max Heaver
on the right wing. With the game seemingly in the bag Bracknell relaxed only to give 2 goals away to let Ramgarhia back into the game. Bracknell suddenly found themselves under huge pressure , however some intelligent play from the defence kept Ramgarhia at bay allowing Sean Hardingham
to deliver the ball into Danny Ray to grab his own hat trick with the deftest of touches pass the keeper.
Overall a great second half display from Bracknell who retained the ball well and defended very intelligently against a tricky side. A double header weekend next for Bracknell but after this performance they should go into the two games full of confidence.
