Bradford & Bingley won by 7 wickets
League
| Bradford & Bingley | 165/3 | vs | 161 | Manningham Mills |
Captain leads the way
Second Team skipper Warren Allitt led his side to victory on Saturday with an unbeaten 87 as Manningham Mills' total was passed with relative ease.
Set 162 for the win in 58 overs, Woz batted in typically aggressive fashion, despatching any poor deliveries away to the boundary for four.
With Rob Dunn (31) and then Ben Chrispin (22) picking up runs at the other end, Mills' heads were soon down as Bingley eased towards the win.
Things had become particularly desparate when the visitors' wicket-keeper was spotted removing his pads in order to turn his arm over and become the NINTH different Manningham bowler used.
Earlier in the day, Richard Slater - taking a rare weekend off from stag-do duties (and fresh from last week's match-winning batting exploits) - caused Mills all sorts of trouble, recording figures of 4-36.
Bradford & Bingley 2nd XI 17pts; Manningham Mills 2nd XI 3pts
Despite the win, the 2s drop to second in the table after rivals Pudsey Congs picked up 20 points by beating Undercliffe.
