Ladies & Gents,
As my first salvo in the role of Club Coaching Co-ordinator, please find attached the latest course calenders from RFU. If I have made a mistake then I am reliably informed that they will be available in the Club Documents section of the site.

On behalf of the RFU we would like to invite you to attend one of the National Academy Skills Clinics taking place in October 2011. These events are open to School of Rugby Coaches, County and Divisional Coaches, Teachers at Rugby Playing schools, Community Rugby Coaches, Coach Educators and Trainers and U16 Club Coaches from the area.
There is no charge to attend, we only ask that you sign in on arrival and position yourself so as not to distract the players and coaches. On conclusion of the session and weather permitting the coaches will be happy to answer questions on their objectives for the session and the approaches they used.
To assist with organisation please contact lisasketchley@rfu.com with your Name, Date of Birth and mobile phone number and the venue you are attending. This information will be used to update your personal coaching CV on Rugby First, showing that you have attended the clinic.
*Please note that joining instructions will not be sent and you will only be contacted in the unlikely event that a session is cancelled

11th North, 6pm @ West Park Leeds RUFC, Leeds, The Sycamores, Bramhope, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS16 9JR
17th London, 6pm @ London Irish The Avenue, Sunbury-on-Thames, Middlesex TW16 5EQ
18th Midlands, 6pm @ Worcester RFC, Sixways Stadium, Warriors Way, Worcester, Worcestershire, WR3 8ZE
19th Exeter, 6pm @ Sandy Park Stadium, Sandy Park Way, Exeter, Devon, EX2 7NN
Skills Clinics – Schedule
6.00pm-6.30pm Lineout Jumping, Lifting, Movement, Hookers 15min Throwing on own then throw to lineout, Scrum halves positional work
6.30pm-7.00pm Scrum revisited all forwards, to include a game.
7.00pm-7.15pm Front 5 scrum set up and binding, 6/8 base of scrum control including 9's
7.15pm-7.45pm Game with all involved playing from scrums.
7.45pm Session finish approx.
7.45pm-8.00pm National Academy Coaches Q&A
8.00pm Depart

· Nick Walshe: National Academy U20 Backs Coach
