Colin Stephens is looking forward to his new coaching role at Bradford & Bingley.
The 41-year-old former Welsh international fly half is earmarked to oversee the second team at Wagon Lane.
“It makes sense for me to do that as I can report back to Martin Whitcombe (director of rugby) and Stuart Dixon (head coach) about how the players are doing and whether any of them deserve to step up. But I am happy to do whatever Bradford & Bingley want me to do.”
Stephens, who has been director of rugby at Leeds Met University since 2004, added: “They have been doing touch and pass at Wagon Lane for a while this summer but there was a good turnout at training last week and I am really looking forward to working with all the boys.”
