Result of the EGM, Tuesday January 6th 2015

The Bees membership last night voted in favour of a motion to separate the Rugby Club from its parent Club, Bradford and Bingley Sports Club.

The meeting was attended by 44 members with a further 12 members submitting a proxy vote. All votes were in favour of the motion to de-merge the Rugby Club from the Sports Club.

The meeting was chaired by Peter Rae, who outlined the reasons for the need to make the Rugby Club independent of the Sports Club. There was a question and answer session where members were able to quiz Peter and Club Secretary, Nick Patterson, on anything that was not clear.

The Cricket Club are holding a similar meeting this Thursday, 8th January, to also remove the Cricket Club from the Sports Club.
