Our small band of club volunteers as against team volunteers
We have had to deal with once again discipline issues, as for the drama of paying our dues and demands, I would not have Andy job of treasurer for all the tea in China,
Well the AGM is a chance to make a new start, with a new season, new system of working, which will see for the first time a player`s subs culture within our club.
Thanks you to all our players, coaches, parents & supporters for 2011
Welcome to Freddie our new bar manager & Bev who will run our Kitchen on open age days
On a sad note, we said farewell to Andy Kopzac and Gary Hallas and as we remember these two guys let us remember former players and members who are no longer with us with a moments respect, please stand and please let’s do that.
Thanks you, Andy Harland, (life member)

Treasurers Report & Balance Sheet by Andy Wall, Craig Beville
Bradford Dudley Hill RLFC Treasures Report 2011
Craig Beville hoped to have a financial report available for tonight, however Craig has been working very hard in a new job and has been out of the Country a number of weeks recently, which, in turn has made bringing the accounts up to date for presentation to the members difficult, apologies to all members for that, we will have to delay presentation of accounts and put before a special General meeting at a later date in the month, these notes were done prior to to-nights meeting.
2011 like the past years recently, we have as a club, always seemed to struggle, however we have always manage to get through, with this year no different
Last year with some age groups it was a hit and miss carry on to pay their subs,
This year going forward the committee has not so much changed things but is enforcing things. This will help the future of the club in the years to come.
The Bar is not the best but it is our biggest source of income the club has, without it the club would have closed by June or July last year, This year you will see changes concerning the bar,
going forward we hope to have the bar open more often, however it is pointless being open if people are not drinking,
All age groups need to use it for meetings or social events.
I would like to finish by saying a very special thank you to Amy, Georgina, Bradley & a select few others, these few people have worked hard all year behind the bar to keep us open.
Proposed report be accepted: Dave Fairburn

THE CHAIRMANS REPORT
I would like to start my report by congratulating all our players who have represented their country which is a massive honour for both the players and their families. It gives me great pride in 2011 as part of our club to see Nathan Lee, Adam Jefferson and Neil Wall all earning representative football.
Along-side this, it fills me with even greater pride to be involved in this great club and see players develop into the open age structure. When I watch our second team playing I get a huge buzz in still seeing players playing the great game many years after they have left the clubs youth structures, I get such pleasure from having had a little input into giving individuals a love of the game.
In life I have some very important values and one of them is loyalty. It is such an important attribute and one in which I value upon all others. This is another aspect for my immense pride in all our long serving members of the club. I will touch further on this subject later on in my report.
I would like us all to reflect on players past who are no longer with us especially Andy Kopczack and Gary Hallas as both will be sadly missed and were real characters that served the club with great passion and honesty.
I would prefer not to dwell on the hardships and disappointments of this last year as there are too many, however I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the volunteers within the club that have enabled the club to function. To all our voluntary team managers, coaching staff, 1st aiders, club members, committee members, supporters and sponsors of which we have too few. Without which there would be no game!! But most of all to our special thank you to our entire bar staff especially Amy, Georgina and Bradley as they have been immense for the club this year with many hours of unpaid voluntary work.
As for the future the committee has put procedures in place so as to try moving the club forwards. The house and bar will revert back to being professionally managed which will enable the remaining committee to focus on bigger fish.
There will be a change of culture within the club going forward as well as a change of focus which I’m confident will see a massive change in how this club operates. I can see some strife going forward, however life is about making decisions and choices and you will never please everybody. Unfortunately we can all get cocooned into our own little zone and all we focus on is that individual aspect rather than the collective aspects that make us a club.

Life Membership proposal 6th January 2012 - David Fairburn
It is proposed by members below that former Physio/First medical officer who has given sterling
support and is a true legend, giving the club service for over 20 years since some of our players
were U13s and moved from the WRYL to The Yorkshire Juniors, I am sure he would be
honoured and delighted by a Life Membership award, David has been over the last 10 years
working with our clubs senior team missing very few games and a true Champion of the
Conference League team. I am also certain this will be a very popular award with all members
within the club and is perhaps overdue, however Dave has now stepped down as medical
support for the team and this is the right time for Dave to have this official recognition.
