1ST Team Striker has confirmed 5th Metatarsal break after training tonight
Liam Dixon will miss the rest of the season with a confirmed break to his 5th Metatarsal this evening, after falling awkwardly during training.
It is a common break with the bone on the outside of the foot and Liam has just returned back into the squad after a lengthy spell out to another injury - bagging his first goal for the 1ST's last weekend at De Veys.
1ST Team Manager Sears said, "We are both shocked and it is sad and frustrating that Liam was beginning to get back into his football, scored last week and then this happened".
He added, "We will of course be there for him all the way and support him any way we can as a Club".
