St Mary's Annual Dinner Dance has been moved to Saturday 21st May at 6pm

Strange to see how a good dinner and feasting reconciles everybody

Due to Liam's fund raising day on May 8th, Gaitsy managing to reach 50 ! and a date becoming free later in the month, the annual dinner dance has been moved from May 7th to Saturday May 21st.

The first date had been pencilled in earlier this year to avoid clashing with The premiership and European rugby finals however, due to unforeseen circumstances the date has had to be changed.

This prestigious club event, a four course dinner, presentation of various club awards including badges* and clubman of the year followed by dancing until 1am is open to ALL club members and their guests. Seats can be booked individually or by tables of 10 and cost just £25**, incredible value for a four course meal plus table wines***

This year (in case Steve Cooke goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on again) the dinner will start an hour earlier, at 6pm, to allow more time for carousing after the presentation.

Tickets ** can be purchased from the bar or by emailing clubhouse@smobrugby.co.uk

* If you believe you are due your club badge (100 senior games, seven years as a coach or seven years continuous full membership) contact Gay Brewer, club sec. before the dinner

** due to inflation, full membership subs no longer cover the ticket price. Therefore there are NO concessionary tickets and EVERYBODY pays full price £25 - still a bargain.

*** Sadly, due to certain people's gluttony and subsequent inability to process alcohol, Port will NOT be placed on the table this year but will be available to buy at cost.
