Just something not clicking....

Bream just didn't turn up at Broad Plain on Saturday, missing a few key players didn't help the campaign, but that's just the way it goes.
The game finally saw the return of loosehead prop Wallace Patteson after being out for over a year with a medial ligament injury, the one positive for me personally that came out of the game was that he said, "even though we lost, I really enjoyed the game," and let's face, that at the end of the day is why the lads play Rugby.
The first half saw Broad Plain dominant and they scored early to give their confidence a boost, which in turn led to a succession of tries from the home team. Bream's only response was a try from winger Ben Jones towards the end of the half, taking the score into half time 26 - 7 to Broad Plain.
The second half was better contested by Bream, but poor discipline meant the away side were giving too many penalties, the game was finally killed off when Bream's number 10 was yellow carded for "back chat." Broad Plain ran in three more tries, with Bream's number 4 Duncan Adams scoring towards the end.
To be truthful I don't know why Bream aren't performing at the moment, we have talented, young players, but for some reason at this moment in time it's just not clicking.
Final score Broad Plain 46 - Bream 14.
