Bream broke an 18 month loosing streak in what was to be their most physical encounter this season.

The game started at an incredibly high tempo with hits coming in all over pitch from both Brockworth and Bream.
It was evident from the first 10 minutes that Bream's defence was going to be key as Brockworth constantly attacked the Bream defence with some hard running.
The game turned into a dog fight with Bream struggling to secure there own ball at the break down as Brockworth were constantly counter rucking and making Bream work for everything.
The game was back and forth with each team exchanging blows. Duncan Adams was outstanding in attack with Brockworth not being able to deal with his direct ball carrying. Bream's defence stayed strong with notable big tackles from Pete Pritchard and Jake Scott.
Unfortunately this defensive effort did come at a cost with Andrew Walker and Hugh Gibbs leaving field with injuries to be replaced by Jamie Lowe and Joel Lesperance.
The game became more open in the final 10 minutes of the half with Bream having 2 shots at goal but unfortunately these chances didn't convert into points.
Brockworth got on the score board just before half time with some good hands to score in the corner. The conversion was unsuccessful.

Half Time Bream 0 - Brockworth 5

The second half Bream really stepped there physicality up a gear matching Brockworth in the break down. Bream's retention of the ball improved which gave them a bit more structure and options in attack.
The Line out was a real strong point for Bream with Andy Cooper being dominant in the air. Liam Brady was keeping the Brockworth defenders on their toes with his darting runs round the ruck area.
The first 25 minutes of the second half was very similar to the first half with back and forth attacks with most of the play being in the centre of the park.
Stand out players in this period was Joel Lesperance and James Mckernon for their work in defence.
The final 15 the game really came alive as Zac Hancock kicked a loose ball through which went deep into the Brockworth 22, the clearance kick was then charged down by Jake Scott and James Mckernon pounced on the ball to score for Bream. Aaron Peachey added the extras.
The Final 10 minutes was a rollercoaster ride. Brockworth threw everything at Bream. Bream were camped on their line for the full 10 minutes in what could be their best defensive display this season the guts and willingness to put their body's on the line was admirable. Brockworth attacked Bream with a number of different methods scrum, driving line out and crash ball running but none of these broken the bream defence. The game ended after a fantastic turn over from Pete Pritchard.
