Brentwood have been awarded the 'Embed the Pathway' accreditation by the governing body the RFL. This establishes the Eels as a premier club in the south east for player development.

Chairman Carl Horsman said "I'm delighted that the club has achieved this accreditation. It's testament to the hard work that all of our coaches have undertaken over the years.

The Eels currently have 5 level 2 accredited coaches and the ETP programme is designed to further assist coaches and help them understand and identify where players are in their development curve. This is particularly important in a late maturation sport where players will develop at differing times. Recognising this and placing a greater emphasis on development rather than winning is certainly paying dividends for both our players and the club."
