BRIDGEND UNITED FC MEMBERSHIP 2010/11

WHY BECOME A MEMBER OF BRIDGEND UNITED?

Bridgend United Football Club exists for the benefit of its members - YOU!

The club is inclusive - anyone who cares about the club can join.

The club’s aims are all about the long term wellbeing of Bridgend United, bringing it closer to our community in Bridgend and helping the village in whatever way we can.

Any money the club receives will only ever be used for the betterment of the football club or for improving sporting facilities within the village.

Your membership makes you a part-owner of the club, with the same stake in the club as all other members. We are democratic - one member gets one vote no matter how much money they give. Your voice will be heard.

You could even stand to become a Committee Member and help push the club forward by offering your enthusiasm and expertise.

WHAT ELSE IS IN IT FOR ME?

As well as being given a say in the running of the club through your voting rights, you will receive an annual Certificate of Membership and be sent complimentary copies of our new regular newsletter.

We will also endeavour to pass onto our members any special offers which companies make the club aware of so that they can benefit from the good will shown to the club.

WHAT WILL IT COST ME?

The annual cost of membership for season 2010/11 is as follows:

Ordinary (18 – 59 year olds) £10.00
Over 60’s £3.00
Full time students £3.00

Players and coaches registered with the squad will receive a complimentary “Free Membership” for as long as they remain registered to the football club as a player (or remain an active coach) as they already contribute massively to club funds through their monthly subscription fees.

From time to time, as the Club Committee deem appropriate, individuals may be granted Free or Honorary Membership of the football club. An example of where this may occur could be as a thank you to a retiring player for long and outstanding service.

Concessionary, Free and Honorary memberships are considered to be full memberships, with full voting rights.
