BRIDGWATER Town boss Rob Dray praised his players following their 3-1 win against one of the league's tightest defences in Paulton Rovers.
Two Aaron Cornwall goals and a Josh Turner header were enough for the Robins to get all three points in front of the home fans.
Town's eighth win of the season lifts them to eighth place and eight points of the elusive play-off places.
Dray said: “We dominated from start to finish against a side that had only conceded nine goals all season and I am really pleased for the players and the fans that we could put on a good show at home.”
Town lost 1-0 to Didcot Town during their midweek match last Tuesday and Dray is hoping the side can put some consistency together after Saturday's 'pleasing performance'.
He said: “We need to keep plugging away and keeping our heads down but the lads stayed switched on for the full 90 minutes on Saturday whereas in other games we've switched off and that's when you get punished.
“We want to be the team others hate playing against for all the right reasons because we scrap and work hard and there are always goals in us.”
Town's next match is on Saturday as they travel north to Halesowen Town who sit 13th. Kick-off is 3pm.ridgwater Town boss Rob Dray praises 3-1 win over Paulton Rovers Copied from the Bridgwater mercury spot the mistakes.
