Bees shown what you need to be second in the League table
The standard of officiating was a major talking point at St Marys during and after today's game, but that shouldn't take anything away from a performance by Street that showed them to be a class above the Bees as they strolled to a 4-0 win.
The visitors were a goal up within two minutes as David O'Hare rose unchallenged to head home from close range. Seven minutes later the points were as good as sewn up as Steve Murray outpaced the covering defender to race through on goal before firing past the unprotected Jason Hutchings in the home goal.
Street added a third when their skipper Ben Amghar converted a corner from an estimated three inches out five minutes into the second period. A fourth for Street and a second for O'Hare turned the final half hour into little more than an exhibition game, albeit one in which four home players were booked and the officials came in for criticism both on and off the field.
