Yesterdays pre-season opener against the blues showed so good signs in Pete Daniels first game in charge. The first 25 minuites it was Brigg who took the game to Trinity and played some great touches but a mistake from Briggs kepper allowed a chance for ex Zebra Patch, he showed in the first half some touches and moves that will see him shine at the higher level and everbody who i spoke to after the game were impressed with his performance.
The goals reigned in and in the second half a screamer from Leon Mettam curled in from 30 yds for what was the best goal of the afternoon.
Brigg play Lincoln City on Wednesday at the Hawthorns K.O 7.30pm
The gate price is £6 and £4 for conncessions.
