HONOURS EVEN BUT WHAT A GAME

As games go Saturdays visit of Chastown FC was to be a huge turn around, from the off Brigg pushed well and showed that we are a class team, it certainly was a game of two types of the beautiful game with Chasetown playing in the clouds and the Zebras passing and playing some of the best two touch football of the season, breaking through on numerous occasions but just not getting the rub of the green at the last gasp.
On 30 minutes Jamie Sherlock went over and picked up a serious ankle injury, he was replaced by debutant Joe Lightowler.
Pushing on hard to the end of the first half, both teams coming close but alas no joy.
The second half was an all Brigg affair the visitors rarely coming close but when they did super keeper Jody Barford was there to save the day, continuing to play good flowing football the Zebras Joe Lightowler held the ball up well on many occasions to help out his colleagues.
FINAL SCORE - BRIGG TOWN FC 0 CHASETOWN FC 0
