Parker had a spell at Brigg during the second half of last season and impressed in very difficult circumstances. He is a central midfield player who will fit in well with Brigg's system.

He is comfortable on the ball and has a good range of passing. The club would like to put on record their thanks to Sam Wilkinson at Lincoln United for allowing him to come to them and get some game time.

Douglas was involved with Gainsborough Trinity's first team in pre-season and has found his chances limited with them in the league so has come to get some regular football. He can play at centre half, right back or in midfield so he will give good options.

Thanks to both players and they will go straight into the squad for tomorrow night's game against Hallam FC.

Brigg are working on bringing in another two players. They will hopefully arrive in time for the weekend, but if not the early part of next week.
