Brigg Town have their sixth consecutive home game against Pontefract Collieries. Mark McDonagh believes they can bounce back after losing on Saturday.

“Pontefract will be up there come the end of the season and have some very good players for this level.

“I expect it to be one of the toughest of the season and if we aren’t at the races we could be in for a hiding so it’s important that the lads rest this week and are ready to run their socks off come Saturday.

“Dec Marshall is suspended and will be a big loss as he’s been excellent since he joined us. Harry Speck is back though and he is a player that sets the tone for the rest of the team with his work rate so is a big player for us.

“We can definitely win, but it will be a very tough game.”
