The Zebras will visit Grimsby Borough Reserves.

Brigg Town have their first away match since the league opener. After three home games they’ve got a trip to Grimsby Borough Reserves. Brigg’s current home record is WWWWWWW which is perfect! Their away record is WLDLLWD and that’s not bad, but it’s not as consistent. More wins on the road is a target for this season.

There’s three in and three out of Brigg’s squad. Joe Smithson, Will Forrest and Jonny Nicholls have replaced Matty Davies, Michael Jaksics and Cameron Hill. Not having Davies, Jaksics or Hill is bad - their replacements are useful though. Smithson and Forrest will provide more options in defence. Nicholls, who was manager’s player and top scorer last season, hasn’t played since pre-season. It will be great to see him back in action for Brigg.

Grimsby are mid-table after winning two and losing two. Charlie Lofts is their top scorer with three goals in four games. They’re a strong side so it won’t be an easy game at all. Grimsby know they can win even though Brigg are top of the league. Brigg should continue to play well like they have been recently. Their season is going very well so far.

Will it get even better?
