The Zebras host Hallam tomorrow.

March begins with a home game versus Hallam. The month would have started with a trip to Retford United. However, that one got postponed due to a frozen pitch. Instead of having the day off Brigg Town played 6-a-side indoors. The players have trained since then and worked hard off the pitch. Tomorrow they’ll work equally as hard on the pitch.

Hallam will be challenging like they were in the reverse fixture. They won 5-1 after being 4-0 up at half time. Brigg did much better in the second half - by then it was far too late! Brigg’s last performance was also incomplete against Knaresborough Town. The first half was promising, but the second half was a lot worse. This time their performance should be strong in BOTH halves.

There’s two in and two out for Brigg. Owen Fletcher and Chris Short are unavailable. Jack Tierney and Charlie Dolling have returned though. Brigg’s squad will be fairly similar to their last one. There will be a good starting eleven and five substitutes. Having five players on the bench is always useful.

Brigg have eleven matches left this season. That’s more than enough to avoid relegation. Tomorrow’s match is a chance for one or even three points. One point wouldn’t be bad against Hallam and three would be ideal. Hopefully, Brigg will play well for 90 minutes rather than 45 minutes again. That way they’ll be more likely to succeed.

Let’s hope for a positive result!
