Marsden and Thompson move down under

Oscar Marsden and Ryan Thompson have gone to Melbourne, Australia for a year. They’ll play football there and enjoy life in a great country.

Brigg Town will find it hard to replace Marsden and Thompson – they were both excellent players. However, the club are still pleased for them and hope it goes well.

A year ago Nathan Smith also left Brigg to go to Australia. The three of them plan to play together for Peninsula Strikers.

Peninsula Strikers are making many signings as they look to rebuild. Marsden, Thompson, Smith and other new players can settle in before their season starts in March.
