Brighouse continue to dominate the West Riding League with a unstoppable performance against
a good Lindley swifts side which had come to Russell way full of confidence following a 38 point win over King Cross. Rangers showed that they can tough it out as the visitors started strongly but Brighouse opened the scoring with tries from Tristan Fallowfield and Alex Tankard which had the swifts on the back foot after five minutes. Rangers large pack then began to control the game which the backs exploited as first Tom Sweeten then Ronan Sylvester scored .Sylvester playing against his former club also took over kicking duties and converted his own try. As halftime approached Brighouse had a commanding lead which never looked in danger as further tries from Fallowfield ,Tankard and Matthew Bailey ,Pick of the Props were Sam Senior and Ronnie Bailey with Senior scoring under the post late in the game. Second row pairing of james whiteley and Milo Martin kept the visitors at bay. Rangers Play Yorkshire division 1 side Castleford Panthers in the Yorkshire cup on Sunday which will be a stern test for Andy Amblers team.
